The Indian women’s national team has retained its spot in the latest edition of the FIFA Women’s World Rankings released today. India is ranked 52nd in the world and 11th in Asia.
The Indian women’s team has 1438 points on its tally – 21 points less than Ghana (51st) and 5 points ahead of Northern Ireland.
Olympic gold medalists USA (2221 points) heads the FIFA Women’s World Ranking ahead of Germany (2168 points) and FIFA Women’s World Champion Japan (2110 points).
