The Indian Under-16 boys finished top of group B by getting the better of the Bangladesh U-16 Team 2-0 in the Under-16 SAFF Championship at the Army Ground in Kathmandu, Nepal today.
India, being represented by AIFF Regional Academy’s Under-15 boys, will be playing the Afghanistan Under-16 team in the semifinals on Sunday, July 28.
India had more of the ball but only scored two late goals in each half with striker Bedashwor Singh scoring in the 42nd minute and then Krishna Pandit in the first minute of second-half injury-time to script another impressive win for the Boys in Blue.
