The U-15 National Team advanced to the quarterfinals of the Dallas Cup when they defeated a strong Sockers U-15 by a solitary goal in their last group league match. Mohanna scored the match-winner for the U-15 boys. The boys, by virtue of the win topped Group G table with 6 points and will next play FC Golden State in the last eight stage.
Mohanna had also scored a brace in the team’s emphatic 5-2 triumph against TSF Academy in an earlier match.
In the other match of the group, Santa Clara Sporting split points with TSF Academy to finish second on the table with 5 points.
The boys who have been based in Florida since September, 2010 had defeated Florida’s Fusion FC 3-2 to win the Invitational Championship in December last year.
