With Barcelona spending big, and Real Madrid spending even bigger, we just can’t wait for El-Classico on the 26th of October to see the forward lines of Messi-Suarez-Neymar and Bale-Benzema-Cristiano in action.
Here’s a statistical comparison of both trios from last season. Now before you start complaining, I admit that Luis Suarez does look a bit out of place here. That’s because he hasn’t kicked a ball for Barcelona yet, but statistically, he was at an equal club last season. Both Liverpool and Barcelona were runners-up in their respective leagues. But to preview what will be a mouth-watering clash, and for the purpose of this article, I must apply the ‘statistics is god’ policy. And by the way, I am not a fan of either club.
