Walter Mazzarri, the former Napoli coach has been appointed as the new manager of the Italian giants, Inter Milan. He will be taking over the Italian outfit after the departure of Andrea Stramaccioni. The former Napoli boss has impressed the Italian giants with his spectacular performance this season which included a second spot finish with Napoli this season in Serie A.
The new manager has penned down a two year contract according to the club’s website. The club has also thanked the former boss, Andrea Stramaccioni for his hard work in difficult times last season when Inter managed to finished at a shocking 9th position. In other stories, there has been speculation made about the arrival of Rafa Benitez to take up high command in the Napoli ranks. Both these transfers are to have tremendous impact, keeping in mind the appealing nature of the new bosses.
The only downside for Walter Mazzarri will be that he will not be able to feature in Europe in the upcoming campaign due to the fact that Inter has secured 9th in the Serie A and they are not eligible to to participate in the Champions League nor the Europa Cup.
