Inter Milan targetting Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema

According to various reports in Italy, Inter Milan are lining up a bid to sign Real Madrid’s striker Karim Benzema.

Inter Milan, who were recently bought by the Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir, will have money to spend in January and manager Walter Mazzarri has his sights set on the French striker.

This could get in the way of Arsenal‘s plans as it was expected that Arsene Wenger would swoop in for his fellow countryman in January to give adequate depth to his forward line.

Arsene is a known admirer of Benzema and had tried to sign him during the summer after he failed to land Gonzalo Higuain.

It would be interesting to see which club finally gets to sign him, and whether there will be a 3rd team involved.
