Inter Milan has got a new top sponsor in the name of Deutsche Bank.
The deal, which is a one-year agreement, will see the company become the official bank of the club. Deutsche Bank has agreed for the first time to a deal in Italian soccer, according to a statement from Inter. The bank has been active in Italy since 1977.
“We have a highly reliable partner with whom we can share strategies directed to our fans,” said Marco Fassone, general manager of FC Internazionale.
“Deutsche Bank’s interest in Inter and its new commercial policy which resulted in the signing of this agreement is a demonstration of esteem in our regard.”
The deal will revolve around fan initiatives, including the creation of a range of branded Inter products such as credit cards.
Deutsche Bank branding will be visible during Inter home games and the bank will also have hospitality rights at the San Siro.
