According to reports from Diario Gol (h/t Manchester Evening News), Barcelona midfielder, Sergio Busquets, will be Manchester City's main transfer target this summer. Pep Guardiola, has already who worked with the 29-year-old in his managerial stint with Barcelona, is keen on rekindling his partnership with the player and is willing to pay his release clause, which amounts to 175 million Euros.
For now, Busquets has given no indication of wanting to leave Camp Nou. However, if the Blues manage to present him with a great offer, the midfielder might be tempted to try new challenges in his career by moving to the Premier League.
Lionel Messi showers praise on Antoine Griezmann
Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann, has been linked to Barcelona throughout this season and the rumours around his potential transfer to Camp Nou are amplifying every day. Lionel Messi, who will play alongside Griezmann should the latter move to the Catalan club, was recently asked about his opinion on the French international. The Spaniard has been linked with a move to China all summer, but the lure of working with Guardiola again might make him consider a move to England. The reigning PL champions will want the 2012 World Cup winner onboard to bolster their midfield with his experience and understanding of the game.
