Ruben Amorim will take to Manchester United's dugout for the first time this Sunday as the Red Devils travel to Ipswich Town. It's been a few weeks since Erik ten Hag was shown the exit door at Old Trafford, and promising young manager Amorim has been appointed in his stead with great hope.
The former Sporting Lisbon manager's tactical nous will be tested this weekend by Kieran McKenna, previously an assistant coach at United during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's time in charge of United.
McKenna did a fantastic job for the Tractor Boys last term, guiding them to promotion but his early weeks in the Premier League have been nothing to write home about. However, Ipswich finally tasted victory in their latest outing before the international break, beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 away from home.
They are currently 17th in the table and will be hoping to build on a few positive performances from recent weeks. Their opponents will be hoping for the same and with the young but battle-hardened Amorim taking the reins, the Old Trafford faithful can be excused for wearing their optimistic lenses once again.
The Red Devils are winless in their last five matches away from home across all competitions and in his first outing, Amorim has that adverse trend to buck.

Ipswich Town vs Manchester United Prediction
Manchester United rode the new manager bounce under Ruud van Nistelrooy well and things are unlikely to be much different under Amorim. Ipswich are yet to win at home this season and United are expected to play with freedom.
It will take the Red Devils a while to adapt to Amorim's system but there's enough quality in their ranks to pick up a win here.
Prediction: Ipswich Town 1-3 Manchester United
