Is Radamel Falcao a new 'GOD' in the making?

The football world is currently ruled by the two colossal figures of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The two giants have been so ruthless in their conquests that they overshadow almost everyone else in the game. It has been a long time since we have seen anyone performing that sort of sorcery. The two have divided the world into two huge armies fighting a never ending war - Who is the greater GOD ?

In such times it becomes difficult to notice the emergence of new stars who show signs of similar brilliance. A lot has been said and heard about the abilities of Neymar, Oscar, Leandro Damiao etc. But, they have not yet delivered on the big stage. There have been moments when they did shine for their country and clubs, but it’s not enough to give them a huge stature. They might become the future greats, but for now it’s not them who can be called the new ‘GOD’.

Radamel Falcao is a name which has driven the European top guns into frenzy. El Tigre has delivered 3 European titles in two years to his clubs, current and former. He has been scoring in the Spanish league and the Europa league with great consistency. The stats show that he is among the best strikers at the moment. He is improving every season with his goal tally and performances. His stats are enough to prove his fantastic form and capability -46 goals in 54 appearances for Atletico Madrid.

EPL clubs have already started preparing attractive bids and contracts to lure the emerging star away from Atletico Madrid. The father of Atletico Madrid’s 26-year-old striker says his son is being tracked by Chelsea, Manchester City and a Russian club. Atletico Madrid chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin has revealed interest from four clubs in Falcao.

If the reports in South America are to be believed, the Colombian Striker could be all set for a move to reigning European Champions Chelsea.

Radamel Falcao’s father said to the Daily Mail, “Falcao has always wanted to play in the Premier League… Ever since he was a boy he has loved Chelsea and has always thought it would be an honor to play for a big Premier League team.”

A player of such quality deserves to fulfill his childhood dreams and to enjoy far more limelight and fan following. If he continues to perform at the same level with the same ferocious attitude then El Tigre is surely going up among the immortals.

Lets wish the brilliant performer All the Best for the future.
