CK Vineeth was a focal point in Bengaluru FC’s attack as they marched to the AFC Cup final, and the striker showed once again why he is so highly sought after in the national circuit. On his return to the ISL, he scored a critical winner for Kerala Blasters as they somehow managed to get a win against Zico’s Goa.

With the match tied at 1-1 and with Goa having only 8 men on the pitch, the Blasters were granted a corner in extra time. They failed to deal with it properly, and eventually the ball fell to Vineeth. The Blues’s forward kept a cool head, made a few feints and shot past the stranded goalkeeper Kattimani ensuring that his team got a feisty win in the end.
