ISL franchise Kerala Blasters' star striker Iain Hume has expressed his gratitude towards Blasters' co-owner Sachin Tendulkar on Twitter after his hat-trick against Delhi Dynamos.

Iain Hume is in his second spell at the Kochi-based franchise after playing two seasons at Atletico De Kolkata where he won the ISL Season 3 title. He is one of the crowd favourites in the Kerala Blasters side and is the top-scorer in the history of the Hero Indian Super League.
The heart of the matter
Kerala Blasters took on Delhi Dynamos at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday where the away side won 3-1 in convincing fashion. Hume scored a hat-trick grabbing goals in the 12th, 78th and 83rd minute to secure the first away win for the Blasters this season.
As a result, the Blasters rose one spot to the sixth in the Hero Indian Super League standings with 11 points from nine games.
After the match, Kerala Blasters co-owner Sachin Tendulkar tweeted out a congratulatory message to Iain Hume and new Kerala head coach David James.
Hume responded to the Master Blaster's tweet and expressed his gratitude to Sachin and said that his appreciation means a lot to him.
What's next?
Kerala Blasters now travel to Mumbai to take on Mumbai City FC on 14th January, 2018, at the Mumbai Football Arena as they continue to rebuild their season under new coach David James.

Hume's hat-trick came at a time when the Kerala Blasters side and the fans needed a boost to carve out a comeback after a dismal start this season. Sachin Tendulkar, the co-owner, was in attendance at the JLN Stadium tonight and showed his appreciation for his star player Hume. The Canadian forward's response further displays the respect and admiration that he has for Sachin.
