After tonight's loss, the Kolkata based outfit have managed just a single win in last six home games. ATK are now closer to the bottom-placed team (Delhi Dynamos - 7 points) than to Kerala Blasters (17), the closest team above them.
Ashley Westwood will need to pull a rabbit out of his hat to plug their poor run for they have four consecutive games at home coming up after today. Bit by bit, their chances of a playoff spot seem less likely.
While mathematically it's still very much possible, ATK will need to make the most of the upcoming games on their own soil. Tonight, they looked uninterested and uninspired against a determined Jamshedpur outfit. it's only going to get harder from here on.
