Hailing from Haiti, Sony wears the number 10 shirt for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan FC and has scored 2 goals for them so far. The rumours for Norde's move to the ISL started at the 2017 I League launch. Norde was quoted saying that he would not mind playing in the ISL and expressed interest to join an ISL Club next season.
Norde's move to an ISL club now looks much more likely given that Mohun Bagan FC coach Sanjoy Sen has resigned from the club. Sen and Norde had an excellent rapport with each other and Norde could be on his way out of the club in the January transfer window itself, if not in the summer.
