Interestingly Kerala Blasters' highest ever scoring match came in the second season where the team ultimately finished at the bottom of the table. A brace from Chris Dagnall and one goal each from Cavin Lobo handed the blasters a thumbing 4-1 victory against NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati. As in the first leg which Kerala won 3-1, this time also Argentine Nicolas Velez scored the consolation goal for the hosts in front of 27,432 disappointed fans.
