Indian scorers moved to the top of the charts of the most number of goals scored by players from a certain nationality in ISL 2017. As things currently stand, both India and Spain moved to the top of the charts with regards to the most number of goals being scored by players from a particular nation this season.
With such a competitive season, it wouldn't take long to set records, and after Bengaluru FC's 1-0 victory at NorthEast United FC last night, yet another record was broken. This season, it has taken just 19 matches for the ISL to register 50 goals. Bengaluru FC had the honour of netting the 50th goal of the season, as Miku pounced on an Udanta Singh pass to win the match for the Blues.

Bengaluru FC registered their third win of the season, as they overcame a stiff challenge from NorthEast United FC at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati, a victory that takes them back to the top of the table.
The Heart of the Matter
India currently sit pretty at the top of the goalscoring charts, with 11 of these 50 goals having come from the home boys. Joining them at the top of this chart is Spain, with the same number of goals. They are followed by Brazil, which has contributed 9 goals, followed by Uruguay with 5.

With 19 matches down and plenty more to go, we can surely expect the goals tally by the Indians to scale new up quite a few notches.
