Mark Sifneos' goal against Pune City FC was the 100th goal in this season of the Indian Super League (ISL). This is the fastest time in which 100 goals were scored in any season of the ISL, with the 100th coming in the 38th match of the season.

Kerala Blasters hosted Pune City FC in the 38th match of the fourth season of ISL on Thursday. Marcelinho opened the scoring account for Pune City FC in the 33rd minute. Sifneos equalled the score in the 73rd minute as his shot hit the keeper on the way and ended up in the back of the net.
The heart of the matter
Sifneos' goal was his third of the season and the Blasters' seventh of ISL 2017. Out of the 100 goals, FC Goa have scored the most with 19 in 7 matches, Pune City FC have scored 18 in 9 matches and Bengaluru FC have put 17 in the back of the net in 8 matches. The anomaly of the season has to be Jamshedpur FC, who have scored only 2 goals in 7 matches.
In individual charts, Coro leads with 9 goals, with Miku in second place with 8 goals. Marcelinho Pereira finds the third place on the podium with 6 goals. Manuel Lanzarote, Balwant Singh and Emiliano Alfaro have scored 5 goals each.

The fourth season of the ISL has been a goal fest through and through with 2.63 goals per match scored till now. We are looking forward to the rest of the season with high expectations.
