ATK are still searching for their first win of the season after losing against Chennaiyin FC 3-2 but the performance Njazi Kuqi will give Teddy Sheringham reason for optimism. The tall striker played a big role in ATK’s first goal stabbing the ball to Zequinha while he also scored his first goal of the season which helped ATK level the scores momentarily.
The 34-year-old is a physical striker who is adept at holding the ball upfront, allowing teammates to join the attack. The former Finland international is also good in the air owing to his big frame. He formed an impressive partnership with the returning Robbie Keane giving ATK something to cheer about in the matches to come.
