Jeje Lalpekhlua failed to score in the first 3 matches of ISL 2017 but proved to be Chennaiyin FC’s match-winner, scoring 2 goals in Chennaiyin FC’s home match against ATK. Jeje proved his poacher’s instinct in both the goals being present at the right place at the right time for both the goals.
He was greatly missed in Chennaiyin FC’s defeat against Mumbai City FC with Jeje on the bench his replacement in the starting line up Mohammad Rafi missed a few presentable chances. With goals finally under his belt Chennaiyin FC will hope Jeje continues his fine form.
