#1 Subhasish Bose (Bengaluru FC), New Team: Mumbai City FC
Subhasish Bose has had a meteoric rise in Indian football, and Bose is one of the best defenders in the country the at the moment. He has recently captained the National team in the SAFF championship in Bangladesh.
Subhasish was praised by fans and critics alike last season for his performance with Bengaluru FC in the ISL. It was his versatility that caught everyone's eyes. Predominantly a left-back Subhasish can play as a centre back with equal ease.
His runs up and down the flanks and his tactical defending has made him India's number one left back at the moment. His positioning is something that has been praised by all, and the young lad from West Bengal seems to be getting better with every passing day.
The 23-year-old defender played 18 games for Bengaluru FC last season and managed to keep seven clean sheets. He had 33 tackles, 15 interceptions, 59 clearances, and 28 blocks throughout the season. He had 26 crosses to his name to go with his one assist. Everyone praised his stats.
Bengaluru FC will surely miss the service of Subhasish Bose, as he had fit into the system entirely and had an excellent understanding with Juanan and Rahul Bheke.
Another big thing that Bengaluru will miss and Mumbai will gain are his giant long throws.
