The highest goalscorer in the last edition of the Indian Super League just started from where he left season; the Spanish goal machine scored a brace in the opening match of FC Goa's opening match against NorthEast United FC to snatch away a vital away point from the Highlanders. Popularly known as 'Coro', the striker laterally ran across three defenders to finally slot the ball inside the target to give them the lead in the 39th minute.
After playing his trade for LaLiga side Espanyol for 13 years, 'Coro' moved to Osasuna, and subsequently played for Girona, Elche, Mallorca and Cypriot side Doxa before boarding the flight to India last year. He has been a vital member of the FC Goa squad and guided the team to the knock stages last year, hopefully, he continues his good form this year too!
