Seriton Fernandes is such a key component for FC Goa with his solidity at the back, and that it comes without compromising on his ability to go forward on marauding overlaps. He assisted Coro's goal which put Goa up 2-0 before half-time, and in command of the match against Mumbai City FC, and his passing accuracy was at 89%, which was the highest of all the defenders in the game.

Goa's most consistent Indian performer over the last couple of seasons, Seriton might feel hard done by at still being overlooked for a spot in the Indian national team.

The experienced man at the heart of the ATK defence had a superb game against Jamshedpur, when he had to deal with one of the form strikers of the ISL, in Spaniard Sergio Castel.

Anas Edathodika was strong, and his judgement was spot on. Far too often in recent times, he's let balls bounce in his own half, and his lack of pace has meant that the ball has skipped away without him being able to catch. Against Jamshedpur, though, he was decisive and cleared his lines at the first attempt.

Even centre-halves can't stop scoring! That's Sergio Lobera's FC Goa in a nutshell. Carlos Pena was a part of a defensive set-up that did concede two goals, but he makes our Team of the Week based on his individual performance.

He was not an easy obstacle for Amine Chermiti to get past, and was a nuisance in the Mumbai box when he got forward for Goa's set-pieces.

Michael Soosairaj

Michael Soosairaj makes our Team of the Week for the third week running! And that is a testament to how well he has played in what is an unnatural position for him.

In the first half of the game against Jamshedpur, which was played in stormy conditions in Kolkata, Soosairaj was one of the few bright sparks. His mazy runs forward and exceptional dribbling ability always kept Robin Gurung on his toes.

Post the break, Soosai also showed off his defensive prowess with a perfect job done on Isaac Vanmalsawma.
