The midfielder from Punjab has played for three ISL sides before he signed for Delhi Dynamos FC, which shows he has been inconsistent throughout.
During his I-League days, he has been successful with Mohun Bagan and Churchill Brothers FC having won the coveted trophy and a Federation Cup each with the respective clubs.
His ISL wins with ATK and Chennaiyin FC is a feather to his cap, but he has failed to change the fortunes of his new club.
In the 11 matches he played for the club this season, the playmaker did not aid the forwards to a great extent.
Although he scored a couple of goals, it does not solve their problems in the midfield. Having finished as low as eighth in the league standings, the bosses may opt for a new face in the midfield for the upcoming days.

The Slovenian playmaker was brought fresh after his heroics with Chennaiyin FC in the last season, which earned them a second Indian Super League title. It was expected of him to play a pivotal role in the midfield for his new side, but he failed to replicate his natural game during the season.
The former UEFA Champions League star may well lose his job if his statistics for the Dynamos are minutely analysed.
Compared to the last season, it was a lacklustre display from the European. In the previous campaign, he scored more goals, produced more assists and his passing abilities was superior. Spending a whole lot of money on the player with minimum contribution is not what the team management in the next season.
