Italy name final 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup squad

2012 European Championships runners-up Italy have named their final 23 players squad for the upcoming 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup to be played in Brazil from June 15 to 30.

Coach Cesare Prandelli has left out goalkeeper Michael Agazzi, defenders Angelo Ogbonna and Andrea Ranocchia, midfielders Giacomo Bonaventura and Andrea Poli besides forward Marco Sau. And, Luca Antonelli left the squad on Monday after bruising his left ankle during a friendly with San Marino last week.

Italy have been drawn in the tougher Group A alongside hosts Brazil , Mexico (2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup winners) and Japan (2011 AFC Asian Cup champions).
