Ecuador v Venezuela - CONMEBOL Copa America USA 2024
Venezuela will face Jamaica - CONMEBOL Copa America USA 2024

Jamaica and Venezuela face off at the Q2 Stadium in Austin on Sunday (June 30) in the 20th game of the 2024 Copa America. While La Vinotinto have secured a spot in the quarterfinals, the Reggae Boyz have been eliminated but will play for pride this weekend, having lost their opening two games.

Jamaica lost 1-0 to Mexico in their opening game last week, conceding the sole goal of the game in the second half in an overall unconvincing display. They then lost 2-1 to Ecuador in their second game.

A catalogue of errors at the back saw them fall two goals behind by half-time. An improved second-half display saw West Ham United striker Michail Antonio pull one back for the Caribbean nation before their opponents reclaimed their two-goal lead in stoppage time.

Venezuela, meanwhile, secured a 2-1 comeback win over 10-man Ecuador in their group opener and built on that with a 1-0 win over Mexico in their second game.

Veteran striker and the country's all-time top scorer Salomon Rondon netted the opening goal from the spot before goalkeeper Rafael Romo pulled off a spectacular penalty save three minutes from time to guarantee La Vinotinto's passage to the knockouts.
