Accordingly to numerous reports including Spanish newspaper AS, Real Madrid C.F. is closing in on signing FIFA Brazil 2014 World Cup sensation James Rodríguez. Various reports have also suggested on the Golden Boot winner reportedly reaching a verbal agreement with Los Blancos and his former club apparently demanding for a transfer fee which could be in the range of 63 million pounds (around 80 million Euros), according to Daily Mail.

With Angel Di Maria all set to leave the Champions league winners, the highly rated Columbian superstar could be a seamless fit in their squad. Albeit with the presence of Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and the newly signed Toni Kroos, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti unquestionably has a monumental task in building the chemistry of his star studded squad.

James Rodríguez has been the star of this World Cup and the best player for Columbia, scoring six goals including a scorcher against Uruguay. With Gareth Bale and Christiano Ronaldo manning the left and right wings, the 23 year old Columbian sensation can be a deadly fit together with Toni Kroos along the middle.

The Spanish giants have also reportedly closed in on signing Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, with the legendary Iker Casillas’s reign almost set to be over.
