France international Jeremy Toulalan has complete his move to newly promoted Ligue 1 club Monaco. The defensive midfielder signed a two year deal with the option of a one year extension, the official club website confirmed.
Toulalan thus became the sixth signing of new manager Claudio Ranieri, with big money signings Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez, Joao Moutinho, and free transfer from Real Madrid, Ricardo Carvalho, already at the club.
The 29-year old was previously playing in Spain for Malaga and had said that he wanted to leave the club at the end of the season.
Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev told the club’s official website: “We are happy with the signature of Jeremy. His skills, his European and international experience, will be an important asset for our team this season.”
