Germany coach Joachim Löw has named his 24 players squad for the final two international friendlies of the year against Italy (November 15) in Milan and against England (November 19) in London.
For Joachim Löw the friendly classic against Italy will be a very special match for him as it will be his 100th match in-charge of the German national team since August 2006.
The big surprise was the call-up of Borussia Dortmund’s 33-year-old goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller as the number three keeper.
Meanwhile Löw will be missing due to injuries Bastian Schweinsteiger (FC Bayern München), Ilkay Gündogan (Borussia Dortmund), Lukas Podolski (FC Arsenal) and Mario Gomez (AC Fiorentina).
