The youngsters from India are making waves around the world and from what can be seen, the future of Indian looks bright to say the least.
Some of that potential was on show on Friday, as the India U-16 team thrashed their Taiwanese counterparts 4-0 in a one-sided encounter in Hong Kong. The likes of Bekey Oram and Thoiba Singh were on fire for the Indians as they cruised their way to an easy win in preparation for the AFC Championship to be held in Malaysia this year.
In case you didn't know...
The India U-16 team is preparing for the Championship with some crucial foreign exposure with matches in Dubai, Qatar, Hong Kong and Spain. Their Spanish expedition will see them involved with big clubs such as Manchester United, Sampdoria and even FC Barcelona.
The heart of the matter
The Indian colts coached by Bibiano Fernandes were positive from the start against the U-17 Chinese Taipei outfit in the Jockey Club International Youth Invitational Football Tournament 2018 which has a number of other teams involved in it.
Eventually, goals from Bekey Oram, Shabas Ahammed, Thoiba Singh and Rohit Danu proved enough for a comfortable victory and extended the team's impressive unbeaten run. The Indian team had earlier managed a huge 10-0 victory against Al Hamriya club while they were playing in Dubai.
What's next?
Preparations are in full swing as the young Indian outfit continues to grow into their newly found confidence and if recent results are anything to go by, high expectations could be on the shoulders of the boys in blue when the AFC Championship finally arrives.

The talent in the youngsters is there for all to see and it could be a matter of time before it manifests itself on one of the biggest stages of junior football competition.
