Jordan Henderson feels that this Liverpool side is the best he has seen in years and that there is enough confidence in the squad to overcome any team they come up against.
Liverpool travel to Old Trafford on Sunday to take on Manchester United with their chances of landing the Premier League title still very much alive, despite a seven-point gap separating them from leaders Chelsea.
Henderson is relishing the opportunity to pile further misery upon their traditional rivals, insisting that Liverpool are playing without any fear currently and can beat anyone on their day.
The Reds’ midfielder told reporters, “Where we are in the table and where they are is a little bit of a change from the last few years.
“We feel we can beat anyone, anywhere, so we will go there with a lot of confidence.
“Yeah it’s a big game, but it’s just another big game. We’ve got ten of them left this season and Man United is just one of them.
“That’s the way we’ve got to approach it. We don’t need to over-complicate and think about things too much.
“I think we can really go there and show how good we are.”
