Chelsea Midfielder has attracted the attention of La Liga team Valencia and it is learnt that they have made an inquiry about the availability of the Nigerian.

The 27 year old who spent much of his time on the bench during his stint at Stamford Bridge is expected to move down the pecking order due to expected signing of Spain midfielder Cesg Fabregas.

According to Daily Mail, Italian giants Inter Milan may also battle it out with Valencia for the signing of the 27 year old Nigerian.

It is indicated that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho may allow the Nigerian Midfielder to look for greener pastures after the latter spent seven years at Stamford Bridge, but after resigning Nemanja Matic and Mourinho planning to freshen up his squad for the next season there is a high probability that he may let go Obi Mikel.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Chelsea Winger Eden Hazard isn’t leaving the club. Hazard was linked with a move to French champions St Paris-Germain with a £68million bid but Mourinho quashed any chances of the club’s leading scorer leaving the club.

“Just because I say that Eden does not have everything, it doesn’t mean I don’t want him.

“For him, as for others, the door is closed.” Said Mourinho.

Just few days ago Eden Hazard had expressed his desire to continue playing for Chelsea.
