It looks like Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado may be on his way to Chelsea after he posted a message to his fans on his Instagram account. The 26-year-old is currently in London for a medical ahead of a permanent transfer to Jose Mourinho’s side.
Fiorentina’s coach Vincenzo Montella had earlier said: “The issue around Cuadrado is very simple: he has a buy-out clause, which was written into his contract along with the club.
"If a team comes along and pays it, and the player wants to leave, then he can go”.
Cuadrado’s message on Instagram said: “Florence will always be in my heart. The people are extraordinary. The fans full of passion.
“The Viola launched my career and gave me the opportunity to grow also thanks to a great club and exceptional teammates.
"Now a new journey awaits me. New emotions. New objectives. But always with Florence in my heart. Thank you to everyone! Juan."
