Schalke 04 midfielder Julian Draxler has confessed that he would love to ply his trade in England, Yahoo! Sport reports.
The 20-year-old is one of the most promising players in the Bundesliga and has appeared 7 times for his country so far.
Draxler renewed his contract with Schalke last summer but has stated that he is willing to leave the club in order to play for one of Europe’s top teams.
“I owe Schalke a lot, but my roots here are not so deep that I would not be able to leave,” he told Cologne tabloid Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger.
“I’m telling you honestly that my dream is to play for one of the big clubs at some point.
“If you want to achieve the big goals, which every world class player has, you have to play at the biggest clubs. These are Real, Barca, United, Arsenal, Chelsea.”
Arsenal and Chelsea were reportedly interested in signing Draxler who has a £40 million price tag on his head.
