N’Golo Kante has been a man in demand this off-season with seemingly all the big clubs of Europe yearning to pry away the services of the Frenchman. Liverpool, looking for a resurgence under the tutelage of Jurgen Klopp seem to be the latest interested in signing the 25-year-old.
Kante, who arrived at Leicester last summer took the Premier League by storm with his performances at the heart of the midfield, helping Leicester to their first ever top flight title in their history. His performances were recognized by a well-deserved spot in the PFA Team of the Season. Sir Alex Ferguson, in fact, considered the ex-Caen midfielder to be the best player in the Premier league last season.
Kante's presence in the midfield saw him showcase one of the finest displays in the recently concluded season. The midfielder form has seen him make it to the France squad for the ongoing European championship in his homeland.
At the same time, his club form has attracted interest from England as well as Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain. It has been reported in recent times that Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, along with PSG are looking to add Kante to their squad.

All these clubs will now face competition from Liverpool, according to the Daily Star. Jurgen Klopp wants the Reds to join the race in signing the most talented midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old joined Leicester from Caen before the start of last season and has impressed in his debut season. He has a £22 million release clause in his contract with his current employers, which means potential buyers must trigger his buyout clause in order to land him.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager has set his sights on beating the likes of United, Arsenal and Chelsea in signing the talented midfielder. Claudio Ranieri is resigned to losing his star player this summer.

Leicester have been receiving requests from clubs across Europe for the availability of their key players. It is believed that the English champions have got more requests for Kante that the attacking duo of Vardy and Mahrez.
Any move from the Merseyside club in signing Kante will be difficult, especially after the player expressed his desire to play in the Champions League. In the above-mentioned clubs, only Arsenal and PSG can offer Kante a place in Europe's elite club competition next term.
“I am a Leicester player. For now, I have not taken a decision even if I have been made offers. It will be great to play in the Champions League. I will decide my future after the Euros,” Kante said, as reported by Goal.com.
