Harry Winks was exquisite for Tottenham through the middle
Tottenham were undeniably the better team in the first half of this contest, as they imposed their will on Juventus and a lot of that was down to the industriousness of Harry Winks in midfield.

Lining up alongside Oliver Skipp at the base of midfield, the 23-year-old was almost unplayable through the middle, distributing possession neatly, while also tracking back to help with defending.
Winks was exquisite for the entirety of the 63 minutes he spent on the field before being replaced by Jack Roles and played some delightful through balls, slicing the Juventus backline with ease and could have had a number of assists to his name but for wasteful finishing by his teammates.
With Christian Eriksen's future at Tottenham still up for debate, Winks could be set to play a starring role for Pochetino in the coming season.
