"Money is not important. For me it is important to know if I can stand out a play a lot in the team I join. Barcelona? It would be nice to play with De Jong but I have to think about myself. I don't know when I'll decide, I'll take my time. Maybe it is not yet the time to join Barcelona."

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream.
