Juventus football club is a professional top flight Italian football club based in Turin, Piedmont. They are popularly known as Juve or the 'Old Lady'.
Founded in the year of 1897 as an athletics club, Juventus has been a constant presence in the Serie A since 1900. Juventus are one of the most decorated teams in Italy and the whole of Europe. They have a whopping 33 league titles, 12 Coppa Italia titles, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 2 European Champions Clubs' Cup, 2 UEFA Champions League titles, 3 UEFA Cups and 2 UEFA Super Cups.
Juventus have gone through a phase of resurgence as of late under managers Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri and they made it to the finals of the Champions League though they lost on both occasions- losing to Barcelona and Real Madrid in the 2014-15 and the 2016-17 seasons respectively.
They play some of the most entertaining football in Europe and has consistently been home to some of the greatest players to have ever played the game. Juventus are also very active in the transfer market and have been able to attract the finest players from around the world thanks to their financial strength and pedigree.
Some of the latest arrivals at the club are Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined from Real Madrid, Aaron Ramsey and Federico Bernardeschi who joined from Fiorentina for a sum of €40 million. Juan Cuadrado and Blaise Matuidi joined from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain respectively for €20 million each. Medhi Benatia was roped in from Bayern Munich for €17 million and Wojciech Szeczesny was signed from Arsenal for €12.2 million.
Some of the latest departures from the club are Leonardo Bonucci who left club for AC Milan for a sum of €42 million. Kingsley Coman joined Bayern Munich and his sale gave Juventus €21 million. Mario Lemina was sold to Southampton in the English Premier League for a sum of €17 million and Simone Zaza was sold to Valencia for €16 million.
Even after so much activity- breaking so many headlines with Juventus Transfer News, the club have again failed to get their hands on the Champions League Trophy, this time crashing out of the tournament to the hands of young Ajax Team.
