Juventus made N'golo Kante their first choice to replace Miralem Pjanic
Pjanic has been one of the most wanted Serie A midfielders for quite some time now, due to his impressive performances for Juventus and AS Roma. He has been the undisputable star in the centre of the park for the Old Lady and has drawn numerous interests from the European giants.
However, Juventus have reportedly made Chelsea's Kante as their top target in case the Bosnian leaves, and the Italian champions are prepared to splash the cash to land the Frenchman.
Kante has been one of the better players for a struggling Chelsea team this season. Despite Maurizio Sarri regularly playing him out of position, the former Leicester player has quickly adapted to his new role. He has been significantly involved in more goals than last season due to a more offensive approach in his playing style.
