Real Madrid 5-2 Osasuna
Real Madrid enjoyed a superb start to their third La Liga game of the season, with Cristiano Ronaldo opening the scoring in the 6th minute. With Osasuna absolutely being overawed by their illustrious opponents, Real Madrid ran riot, with Danilo and Sergio Ramos getting on the scoresheet soon after, with Los Blancos taking a 3 goal lead going into the break.
Pepe made things certain with a pinpoint header from a corner, before Luka Modric made it 5-0 later. Osasuna pulled two goals back through Oriol Riera and David Garcia, with Bonnin Vasquez earning his marching orders with 10 minutes to go.

Barcelona suffered a massive shock defeat at home to Deportivo Alaves. The newly promoted side produced a magnificent defensive performance, with Barcelona struggling to break them down. Deyverson gave the visitors the lead with a shock goal at the near post to take the lead going into the break.
Before the second half even had time to breathe, Jeremy Mathieu equalised for Barcelona from a corner. With Barcelona looking dead cert to win as they piled on the pressure, Alaves silenced the Camp Nou for a second time, with Ibai Gomez’s well taken goal giving Alaves the lead yet again. Even with Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta coming on, Barcelona were unable to earn an equaliser, with Alaves cemeting a historic win.
