Real Madrid moved back to within five points of Barcelona with a 3-0 victory over Eibar at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Goals from Marco Asensio and Marcelo added to Paulo Oliveira's own goal to earn Zinedine Zidane's charges all three points in front of their own supporters.
Here's how the players rated in the Spanish capital:
Real Madrid
Kiko Casilla - 7/10
Casilla made three saves on Sunday and generally looked assured between the sticks. He remains Madrid's backup goalkeeper but did his prospects of further game time no harm.
Nacho - 7/10
Deployed at right-back rather than centre-half, Nacho was typically solid at the Bernabeu. He made two tackles and rarely gave his direct opponents time or space on the ball.
Raphael Varane - 8/10
Varane was excellent against Eibar and was possibly, the best player on the field. He read the game well, making eight clearances and five interceptions.
Sergio Ramos - 7/10
Ramos was not quite as busy as centre-back partner Varane, but he was still comfortable at the back for most of the encounter. His aggression can occasionally be negative, but here it helped keep Madrid on the front foot.
Theo Hernandez - 7/10
Hernandez motored down the left flank whenever there was a chance to do so, with his speed a key asset in both defence and attack.
Casemiro - 6/10
The Brazil international was fortunate to avoid a red card and was a little ill-disciplined both with and without the ball. He remains an integral part of Zidane's side, however.
Luka Modric - 7/10
Modric set the tempo for Madrid with his distribution, with 90% of his 70 passes finding their target. This was an understated but effective display from the Croatian.
Dani Ceballos - 7/10
Ceballos showed great energy in the centre of the park, shuttling forward from midfield and linking well with the likes of Isco and Asensio.
Isco - 7/10
This was a mixed game for Isco, who did some things brilliantly but was guilty of over-elaboration at times. He combined well with Asensio, particularly in the first half, before being taken off in the 71st minute.
Marco Asensio - 8/10
Asensio scored one goal, set up another and was a constant menace for Madrid on Sunday evening. His dribbling was excellent, although he was a little greedy on a couple of occasions.
Cristiano Ronaldo - 6/10
It was a frustrating night for Ronaldo, who had five shots - two of which found the target - without scoring. He was also a little wasteful with the ball, but his mere presence makes him a threat.
Substitutes:
Karim Benzema - 8/10
Benzema provided the assist for Marcelo's effort and linked the play well after entering the fray in place of Asensio shortly after the hour-mark.
Marcelo - 8/10
Introduced in an unfamiliar left-midfield role, Marcelo's terrific technique meant he did not look at all out of place. Scored Madrid's third to make sure of the victory.
Lucas Vazquez - 6/10
Vazquez replaced Isco with 20 minutes left on the clock but was unable to contribute much in an attacking sense.
Eibar
Marko Dmitrovic - 8/10
Dmitrovic grew into the game and made some excellent saves, including from Cristiano Ronaldo and Isco. This defeat could have been worse were it not for the goalkeeper.
Ander Capa - 7/10
The right wing-back did not get forward as much as he would have liked, but he fulfilled his defensive duties diligently and was disciplined with his positioning.
David Lomban - 6/10
The centre-back struggled to deal with the interchanging and movement of Isco and Asensio, although he did make a team-high six clearances.
Anaitz Arbilla - 6/10
Arbilla made more passes than any of his team-mates, but most of his evening was spent defending. He won 100% of his duels and was strong in the challenge.
Paulo Oliveira - 5/10
Scored the own goal to break the deadlock and put Madrid in front, but he did make six interceptions and cover for his fellow defenders well.
Jose Angel - 5/10
Angel's positioning was a little suspect at times, as he struggled to know whether to track Asensio's runs across the pitch or stick to his position.
Cristian Rivera - 5/10
Rivera anchored the midfield but struggled to get a grip on Isco in the No.10 role for Madrid. He was accurate with his passing, though, record a success rate of 95.6 per cent.
Joan Jordan - 6/10
Jordan was one of his side's most dangerous players in an attacking sense, with some of his passing helping Eibar get up the pitch quickly.
Takashi Inui - 6/10
Inui was tasked with pushing up and providing support for Charles, but he often found himself too deep in the pitch as he tried to contribute defensively. He did show some nice touches, though.
Gonzalo Escalante - 5/10
Escalante put himself about in the centre of the park but gradually became overrun and was a little slow across the ground.
Charles - 4/10
Charles got into some good positions but was guilty of some poor decision-making, wasting the ball and often choosing the wrong pass or shot - including an effort from the halway line when Eibar had a two versus one on the counter-attack.
Substitutes:
Ruben Pena - 7/10
Pena created one chance during his time on the pitch and looked dangerous whenever he got the ball.
Kike Garcia - 7/10
Garcia did well after coming on, linking the play competently and completing all nine of his passes.
Sergi Enrich - N/A
Entered the fray far too late in the game and didn't influence much.
