Off to France?

After Shaka Hislop’s quotes on the Tottenham full-back, the manager of the club he is being linked with has spoken about the stories making that claim. Thomas Tuchel made it clear that he is not ready to talk about transfers rumours.

However, he did praise Rose in a very subtle way, claiming that it took him three days to prepare for the threat that he possesses.

"I will not comment on transfer rumours," Tuchel said.

"I will simply say that I came up against Tottenham Hotspur three years ago and it took me three days to work out how best to combat him [Rose]."

He also added that he hopes that the transfer window isn’t closed for the French giants just yet.

"I hope that our transfer window is not closed.”
