Messi named Barcelona's new captain
Lionel Messi has been named as Andres Iniesta's successor as the captain of Barcelona. The Spanish legend left the Catalan side after 22 years at the club. He went on to join Japanese side, Vissel Kobe.
Messi is Barcelona's longest serving player in the current squad. Sergio Busquets has ben named as the new vice-captain, with Gerard Pique and Sergi Roberto the third and fourth captains respectively.
Barcelona have buy-back clause for Yerry Mina
Barcelona sold Yerry Mina to Everton on the deadline day for English clubs. The Toffees reportedly paid €30 million to sign him and also signed Andre Gomes on loan.
Marca now report that the Catalan side have inserted a buy-back clause in the Mina's contract. They will be able to sign him by paying €60 million to Everton whenever they want.
