Casillas to retire at FC Porto
Real Madrid legend, Iker Casillas has confirmed that he will be retiring at FC Porto. The legendary goalkeeper was linked with a move back to Spain but he has rebuffed all speculations.
“I spent a large part of my life at Real Madrid, which is the best club in history. But I came to Portugal and joined a strong team like Porto, so that makes me very happy. I’d like to finish my career with Porto and go to the end of my contract,” Casillas told Portuguese broadcaster RTP.
Lopetegui asks Raúl de Tomás to leave
Julien Lopetegui is set to make his first sale as a Real Madrid manager and Don Balon claim it is going to be Raúl de Tomás. The 23-year-old Spanish forward has been told by the manager that he has no future at Bernabeu.
The former Spain manager has decided to stick with Borja Mayoral and Karim Benzema as his forwards for the season. He will welcome any new signing but will not keep Raúl de Tomás in the squad.
Real Madrid unhappy with Sergio Ramos
Los Blancos are not happy that their captain, Sergio Ramos returned late from his vacation according to Marca. The report claims that he returned to pre-season training on August 1st – 2 days late.
His Spanish teammates at Real Madrid, Isco, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vazquez and Nacho returned from their holidays on July 25th & 26th, while Dani Carvajal returned on July 29.
