La Liga Round 8 : Athletic Bilbao beats Osasuna at home

Spanish Football finished with the last match off Round 8 of La Liga with an exciting game of Football played between Athletic Club Bilbao & Osasuna. The ‘Lions’ got their game finally together after some difficult past rounds matches & won 3 – 1 in front of their roaring fans ( no punt intended ).

However it was Osasuna which got off to a flying start and shook Bilbao whos keeper Iraizoz had to make a double save in the 9th min to keep the visiting forward Lamah from scoring. Later on the Osasuna player would be sent off for a double yellow in the 61st min.

Muniain

Bilbao recovered from the early knock and quickly took control with youngster Muniain scoring in the 29th min. In fact the Bilbao player put in a great game running roit and frustrating the Osasuna defence all night. The second for Athletic came in the 37th min via Gabilondo & Javi Martinez got his teams third in the 47th min.

Osasuna with 10 men got a penalty in the 90th min which Nekounan scored as a consolation.
