With the transfer window now open, The Team Of Your Dreams takes a look at the possible recruits and outgoings in the La Liga.
Mário Fernandes - Grêmio to Real Madrid
The 21-year-old Brazilian is said to be a target for several clubs in the January transfer window with Grêmio already knocking back a €12m offer from CSKA Moscow. It is believed that José Mourinho’s Real Madrid are most likely to sign the young full-back who has already been dubbed “the new Lúcio”. The Porto Alegre based team are keen to hold on to Fernandes, however a lucrative offer is likely to see the player leave.
Martín Cáceres - Sevilla to Juventus
It is no secret that Juventus are interested in the 24-year-old full-back. The problem is that the clubs are yet to agree a price; Sevilla are asking for €10m whilst Juventus are only willing to pay €8million. However, reports suggest this will be resolved and chances are that the Uruguayan will be a Juventus player sooner rather than later.
Roberto Soldado - Valencia to Chelsea
André Villas-Boas is looking reinforce his attacking options in the January transfer window and it is thought Roberto Saldado could be top of his list. The 25-year-old Spain international has scored 29 goals in 50 games for Valencia so it is no surprise he is attracting attention.
Antonio Reyes - Atlético Madrid to Sevilla
This move looks extremely likely as the former Arsenal man has requested to leave Atletico Madrid in order to join his old club Sevilla. The 28-year-old played for Sevilla from 2000-2004 and has stated that he has always wanted to return and fears if he doesn’t now he may never get the chance again.
Kaká - Real Madrid to Chelsea/PSG
It has been reported that Real Madrid are keen to offload Kaká for an offer in the region of £22m. The Spanish side signed the Brazilian for £56m in 2009, which was a world record fee. Rumours circulating suggest that Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain could be interested in the 29-year-old.
Andrés Guardado - Deportivo de La Coruña to Valencia
The deal for the Mexican winger has been on the cards for a while now and it seems to be pretty much done and dusted. A verbal agreement has been made between Valencia and the player and it is thought he will be announced as a Valencia player soon.
Neymar - Santos to Barcelona
The 19-year-old striker has been attracting attention due to his remarkable talent. Neymar has an impressive record scoring 40 goals out of 85 appearances for Santos, and eight goals out of 15 appearances for Brazil. So it is no surprise that Spanish giants Barcelona are said to be interested in the youngster.
