Luka Jovic chooses to join Real Madrid

Luka Jovic has grown immensely in reputation over the course of this season and has become one of the hottest young properties in European football at the moment. Eintracht Frankfurt, who only recently signed him on a permanent basis from Benfica, are now all set to lose him to Real Madrid for a sum in the ballpark of €70 million.

Jovic wants to make the switch to Real Madrid and the Blancos are more than happy to welcome him to the Santiago Bernabeu. Zinedine Zidane is expected to enter the summer transfer window looking for a replacement for the ageing Karim Benzema. Now it looks like they will have to look no further.

Real Madrid are close to agreeing a deal worth somewhere between €60 million and €70 million for the young striker in the coming days. This will be quite a sensational move for the 21-year-old.
