Lampard says Galaxy links are rubbish

There hasn’t been a lot of news in the last few weeks but one story which has been around is Lampard moving to LA Galaxy.

However, today Lampard squashed the rumours today and has had the following to say:

“There’s nothing in that at all. Now I’m really looking forward to getting back to Chelsea. I’m feeling fit and fresh and I’m raring to go. My thigh strain is completely healed now and maybe missing the Euros was a blessing in disguise for me. I had a full summer off and I’m ready to go back to start the hard work for the new season. We’ve more to look forward to with the Super Cup and World Club Championships.”

That is the news that every Chelsea fan wants to hear. At the end of last season, Lampard adopted a new role and adjusted very well. It showed everyone he can still cut it at the top-level and is very much still in the plans for next season.

Again the media will spread any rubbish at this time of the season, but sometimes there is truth in the rumours going around. So it was important that Lampard came out and made it clear where his future lies.
