Arsenal
Petr Cech - 7.5/10
It was a comfortable outing for Cech in Leicester. He was rarely troubled and did manage to fend off a few scares late in the game. A perfect day in the office for the Czech veteran.
Hector Bellerin - 7/10
The Spaniard was shown too much respect by Leicester and sadly he failed to punish them. He was rarely troubled defensively but his attacking contribution was bit of a dampener today.
Robert Holding - 7/10
This former Bolton man looked very comfortable in Koscielny's presence. He did manage to hold his own against Vardy and Ulloa.
Laurent Koscielny - 7.5/10
The Frenchman proved today why he is the mainstay of this Arsenal defence. He kept Vardy in check for most of the game.
Nacho Monreal - 8/10
Yet another performance from Monreal which slipped under the radar. He did really well to shut out Mahrez with his sound tackling and positioning. A commendable display.
Granit Xhaka - 6.5/10
An impressive debut for Wenger's marquee summer recruit. He provided tenacity and steel to this Arsenal midfield which was sorely missed last week at Emirates against Liverpool.
Francois Coquelin - 6/10
He was at his erratic yet effective self. The Frenchman did well to break Leicester's sweeping counterattacks but his sloppy tackling made him a ticking bomb waiting to explode. He needs to work on his tackling especially with Xhaka now in the ranks.
Theo Walcott - 6/10
He failed to make his pace count against a relatively slower Leicester defence. He was really poor with his passing and creativity in the final third for Arsenal. Especially against Fuchs, who gave him some space to maneuver.
Santi Cazorla - 6/10
The little Spaniard looked underwhelming against the Leicester's defensive organization. Cazorla lacked his usual creative spark. All in all, it was a pedestrian display by Arsenal's talisman at the King Power stadium.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - 5/10
The 23-year-old was a headless chicken in that Arsenal attacking quartet. Despite having the advantage in terms of speed, he rarely troubled Danny Simpson.
Alexis Sanchez - 5.5/10
The Chilean was absolutely impotent against the sturdy duo of Huth-Morgan. His lack of movement and lack of creativity made him a peripheral figure for most of the game. Although he looked much better post Ozil and Giroud's arrival but sadly it was a poor game by his standards.
Substitutes
Jack Wilshere - 6/10
The injury-plagued midfielder brought spunk in midfield which was very flat for most of the game. It was a fairly uplifting performance by the Englishman.
Mesut Ozil - 7/10
His arrival changed the tide for Gunners in this cagey encounter. The German suddenly brought a dull and sloppy Arsenal attack back to life. It was baffling to see him start from the bench.
Olivier Giroud - 6/10
The Frenchman brought some balance to a flaccid Arsenal attack. Although he looked out of sorts, his arrival significantly improved the likes of Alexis and Ozil.
