Leicester City welcome Everton to the King Power Stadium for a Premier League matchday five fixture on Saturday. The hosts are coming off a controversial 2-2 draw away to Crystal Palace last weekend.
They went into the break in the lead courtesy of Jamie Vardy's 21st-minute strike and doubled their lead in the opening seconds of the second half with Stephy Mavididi's volley. Palace pulled one back a minute later in controversial circumstances through Jean-Philippe Mateta and the Frenchman completed the comeback with an injury-time penalty.
Everton, meanwhile, were dumped out of the EFL Cup on penalties by Southampton following a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. They went ahead through Abdoulaye Doucoure in the 20th minute while Taylor Harwood-Bells equalized in the 32nd minute. The Saints ultimately progressed with a 6-5 victory in the shootout.
The Toffees will turn their attention to the league, where their last game saw them relinquish a two-goal lead in an eventual 3-2 defeat at home to Aston Villa.
The loss left them at the foot of the standings on zero points after four games. Leicester are 15th on two points.

Leicester City vs Everton Prediction
Leicester City have not made the start to life they would have expected on their return to the Premier League. The Foxes are yet to win a game as Steve Cooper's methods are still yet to reap dividends.
Everton are looking like the most out-of-sorts club in the league once again, with the Toffees currently embroiled in off-field issues. Sean Dyche's side have lost all four games played in the league.
Leicester have won just one of the last seven head-to-head games and are without a home win against their upcoming opponents since December 2019. However, their visitors' struggles mean they are primed to claim all three points with a narrow win.
Prediction: Leicester City 2-1 Everton
