Primera Liga outfit Levante announced on Wednesday they would not be renewing coach Juan Ignacio Martinez’ contract when the present one finishes on June 30.
Levante, who finished 11th in the recently concluded season and reached the last 16 of the Europa League, did not say if they already had a replacement for the 48-year-old Martinez, who has been at the club for two seasons.
“Sporting director Manolo Salvador told him (Martinez) in person of the decision not to offer him a new contract when his present one ended on June 30,” the club announced on its’ website.
